WHAT WE DO
Porter County Education Services (PCES) is a Special Education Interlocal in Porter County, Indiana. We provide premier special education services to all the school districts in Porter County including: Duneland, East Porter County, MSD Boone Township (Hebron), Portage Township, Porter Township, Union Township, and Valparaiso. We serve approximately 5,000 students across 55 schools. At PCES we believe in a team approach with parents, teachers, therapists, and students to create the best Individual Education Plan (IEP). PCES employs teachers, speech and language pathologists, paraprofessionals, therapists, occupational and physical therapists, social workers, behaviorists, school psychologists, educational diagnosticians, administrators and clerical staff. PCES offers a full continuum of services to provide FAPE to our students. Preschool programs, consult services, inclusive services, co-teaching, pull out services, self contained classrooms, homebound services, and the Special Education Learning Facility (SELF) located in Valparaiso. PCES will continue to use research, special education information, and new technology. We look forward to working with you and your child!
